A person was shot at the Market-Frankford Line's 15th Street Station late Sunday night, across the street from Philadelphia City Hall, SEPTA officials told NBC.

Eastbound subway trains bypassed the 15th Street Station while police investigated, SEPTA officials told NBC.

The person was taken to a local hospital for treatment where their condition is unknown, SEPTA officials told NBC.

The incident is under investigation.
